 FAQs

  • You can find our full Fee Schedule here.

Sliding scale is offered on an as-needed basis.

  • Encouraged Psychology is an out of network provider. We are not in network for any insurance provider and therefore cannot take insurance.

We can, however, provide you with a detailed invoice (or “superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance company for any out-of-network benefits you may have.

Please note that each insurance provider (e.g., Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna) and each individual plan (e.g., Blue Cross Blue Value vs. Blue Cross Blue Local) are different. If you are considering using your out of network benefits services, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance provider to determine what out-of-network coverage you have. You will want to ask about deductibles, coverage rates for each therapy code, and percentage of fees covered out-of network.

If your insurance company has particular requirements for reimbursement, please let us know in your first session.

  • Yes! Sliding scale spots are offered on a limited basis and are based on need. If you think we are a good fit for you but our services are too expensive, please reach out to talk about what sliding scale options might look like for you.
